Solar recently travelled to Istanbul to attend Binance Blockchain Week which took place from November 8th to the 9th. We were proud to be one of the prestigious sponsors of this event along with Alchemy Pay, Onfido, aws, and GALA Games.
Binance Blockchain Week is a flagship event in the crypto calendar, drawing together industry leaders, blockchain enthusiasts, and innovators from around the globe. This year’s event was hosted in the vibrant city of Istanbul and provided a unique platform for projects to showcase their products and services, engage with the community, and forge strategic partnerships.
Solar Presence
Sponsoring a booth at Binance Blockchain Week was about more than just visibility. It allowed us to network, learn about other projects and gain insight into the latest trends and developments in the blockchain ecosystem.
The Solar booth was undoubtedly the most eye-catching at the event. It was meticulously designed by block producer Kimchi to capture attention and reflect our brand identity.
It was more than just a booth. It was a networking hub with visitors constantly arriving to talk, take our brochures and connect with the team.
Our brochures and mouse pads were again kindly designed by Kimchi and they were stunning. Binance placed approximately 2000 brochures and mouse pads in tote bags for attendees. We also had brochures and mouse pads available at the booth.
Networking
The event was exceptionally well attended, and Solar team members found themselves talking continuously with crypto community members. Nayiem Willems was on hand to speak and network with many influencers, project leaders and innovators.
The IvendPay team stopped by the booth and demonstrated a POS machine that allows people to pay for goods and services using SXP. More news about this collaboration will follow soon!
Our Solar Brand Ambassador was interviewed by news outlets and YouTubers, and the Solar team seized every opportunity to connect with attendees, potential clients, and collaborators.
Istanbul and Blockchain
It is little wonder that Binance chose Istanbul to host BBW. Turkey is one of the world’s largest crypto-trading countries, and Istanbul is a significant financial and economic hub. Istanbul serves as a bridge between Europe and Asia geographically and economically, and many international and domestic banks have offices in Istanbul’s financial sector.
With a volatile currency and a young, tech-savvy population, it is unsurprising that cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology are being embraced in Turkey. This is reflected in the fact that many more blockchain conferences are planned for Turkey in 2024.
Conclusion
Sponsoring a booth at Binance Blockchain Week in Istanbul proved to be a worthwhile opportunity for Solar. Beyond the immediate benefits of increased visibility and networking opportunities, the event opened doors to new collaborations and a deeper understanding of the blockchain landscape. We will keep you updated about any follow-up from this event. Keep following us for the latest news.
