Solar Q3 Update (Part 1 of 4)
Introduction
Dear Solar Community,
The third quarter of this year is complete and there never seems to be a dull moment in our industry.
That’s maybe why these last few months have gone by so fast.
We have many updates and some exciting news to share with you about the progress we’ve made over these past few months.
The focus for Solar Network remains the same which is divided into four categories of work.
1. Decentralised payments.
2. Open source tools for blockchain development.
3. District 53 — the Solar metaverse.
4. Mainnet integration of exchanges
These categories bring various benefits and value to our ecosystem and SXP holders.
You will find the accomplishments we’ve made aligned to one or more of these four categories in a series of blog articles which we will be publishing in the next 7 days.
Meet Solar’s new Senior Brand Ambassador and co-founder
We have a couple of announcements for you regarding roles within Solar. Tief decided to step down from his position as Senior Brand Ambassador. This means he can concentrate more of his time and energy into promoting D53 and philanthropic ventures such as the Go English Program.
In the meantime, we are delighted to announce that Elaine Egan has agreed to accept the position of Solar Senior Brand Ambassador.
You may recognise Elaine from her work with the mod team on our Telegram channels and Discord.
Elaine has a great deal of knowledge about the blockchain and crypto world.
Before joining Solar in February 2022, she worked with Ark Ecosystem as their Community Manager.
She also has experience in content creation, communication and Social Media management.
She will use these skills to promote Solar both online and at events.
In her words, “Behind every great crypto project is a great community”.

- Solar represented by (former) Senior Brand Ambassador Tief guested in an AMA hosted by Bitget last August 30th.
Bitget has grown into one of the leading crypto derivatives exchanges, supporting spot trading and futures. The AMA was held to get the LBank Turkish community to learn more about Solar. - A one-on-one discussion with Creator Charlie, co-founder of Nemus Earth was held on Twitter Spaces and broadcasted on Discord Soundstage last September 8.
