Welcome to part 4 of the Solar Q3 Update.

Before we start, we would like to thank everyone for their patience.

Since we released the 3rd part of the Q3 update, we have received feedback from exchanges and have been in direct contact with Binance regarding Solar network and the mainnet migration.

Roadmap and Whitepaper

Due to recent (positive) conversations with Binance, we had decided to delay the Q3 blog article and are currently waiting for more information before we proceed with the new whitepaper and roadmap.

We are as much as excited as you are to present the new whitepaper and roadmap, but we have been advised to put this on hold until the next meeting in the upcoming week.

Solar Blockchain Foundation

The Solar Blockchain Foundation was recently established in Estonia.
One of the reasons for creating a foundation was that we will need to sign legal documents to engage with exchanges and third party service providers.

Having a foundation will make this process smoother and easier.
Estonia has proven to be a very crypto and business friendly country therefore it seemed like the ideal choice to incorporate the Solar Blockchain Foundation there.

To answer an often asked question. Solar is not a team.
We are a community driven project that consists of a wide range of like-minded people.

Also to answer another frequently asked question, the Solar Blockchain Foundation launched without ICOs or equity investments.
Marketing, exchange integrations, commercial activities, staffing, legal counsel and administrative operations are all funded by donations received in SXP.

Going forward we will be looking for people to become foundation members.
Foundation members will be expected to operate for the overall benefit of Solar.
This is an exciting opportunity for us and we trust that you support us on this decision.

Create documents such as legal opinions for exchanges and 3rd party service providers.

Review sensitive documents with 3rd party providers.

If you think you qualify and have a proven track record of experience with positions like this please send your application through by email: nayiem@solar.org

We will continue to add more vacancies in a dedicated section of the Solar Blockchain Foundation as soon as they become available.

New Website

Together with this blog article, we have released a new website with an all new look and feel.

The website will become more dynamic over-time with more analytic data, delegate contributions information, events and a Solar merchandise webshop.

The website will become open-source and will allow delegates or individuals to modify or add any technical or cosmetic improvements.

Browser wallet and Mobile wallet

We appreciate the patience our community has shown in waiting for the official release of the browser and mobile wallets, as our own patience has been tested too, during the development of these items.
While the source code for the browser wallet has been finished and it has been accepted by the webstore, we are awaiting final internal general and security audits.

The mobile wallet was recently pushed to Apple (TestFlight), Google (Open-testing) and Huawei for review on the 11th of October.

We will inform you on Twitter and in a separate blog article when the download link becomes available. Thank you for your patience.

Stay tuned

Keep an eye on our website and social channels, as we will be releasing the Solar Merchandise Shop next week!
