As we wrap up an incredibly productive first quarter of 2025, we’ve clearly hit our stride. With key projects coming to life and a powerful vision for what’s next, the Solar ecosystem is growing brighter than ever.

Here’s a quick look at what we’ve accomplished — and where we’re headed next:

1. Solar Card – App and Physical Cards

The Solar Card App V1 is now live as a Progressive Web App (PWA). This approach helped us sidestep the usual iOS bottlenecks, allowing users to register accounts, complete KYC and residency verification, and apply for their unique Solar Card — all in one smooth experience.

The app has now been migrated to the Ionic Framework, making cross-platform deployment (Desktop, Browser, Android, and iOS) much more efficient. With this technical shift in place, we’re gearing up for our largest marketing campaign to date — targeting crypto enthusiasts and newcomers alike.

With Solar Card, we’re making crypto brighter — and more accessible — for everyone.

2. Solar Wallets – A Full Overhaul Ahead

The Mobile wallet is the gateway to the Solar ecosystem, and crypto in general – and this overhaul has been a long time coming.

The new Solar Mobile Mobile Wallet is being built entirely in Typescript using the Ionic Framework. Proprietary, consistent, and fully compliant. Our team is packing the new release with features to rival the industry’s best:

• Multi-address support
• Multi-chain compatibility
• Cross-chain contacts/address book
• Integrated ChangeNOW service
• Cleaner UI and faster interactions

We will be saying goodbye to the old Solar Mobile Wallet, and welcoming a whole new "Brighter" experience — built for a decentralised future.

3. tymt – Decentralised Gaming, Made Real

Creating the most inclusive, truly decentralised gaming environment isn’t for the faint-hearted — but tymt is proving it’s possible.

• The tymt Library has grown to 108 games (native and in-browser)
• We’ve squashed hundreds of interoperability and accessibility bugs with help from our amazing community
• The new Developer Console opens the door for game developers to onboard freely and independently
• Decentralised nodes (aka game torrents) are here: every game file can now be seeded, and seeders rewarded for easing the network load
• This week we’re welcoming HHMC, the team behind Outlaw’s Brawl, to the tymt family!

During Web3 Amsterdam, we had the pleasure of connecting with some of the industry's most exciting builders — including Pirates of Arrland, Cryptopia, Legends of Elysium, Alien Worlds, Decentraland, and Kickdom. These connections are paving the way for promising new partnerships.

4. BrighterVPN – Major App Update

After a successful Android launch and deep user testing, BrighterVPN is now expanding to desktop. Our focus is now on building out the PC version, while the Mac environment is under fresh review.

Stay tuned — privacy and security are only getting better.

5. Marketing in Bloom

We heard the community — and we’ve answered. Airdrops and rewards are back, with:

• Ongoing, weekly and monthly quests
• Points and SXP rewards
• New partnerships for a robust rewards system (suggestions welcome!)

Looking Ahead to Q2: Dubai and Beyond

We're proudly heading to the Dubai Crypto Expo in May 2025, where we’ll present the Bright Wallet, Solar Card, and the fully operational tymt platform.
